About Reed Mayo

Reed Mayo is a native of Hampton Roads and has practiced law in this area for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Duke University and obtained his law degree from William & Mary, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Law Review. After clerking for United States District Judge Robert R. Merhige, Jr., Reed joined Hunton & Williams in 1987 in its Norfolk office where he practiced for 16 years. He then opened Reed Mayo Law Firm where he has practiced ever since.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Reed is admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
